Croatia is a new destination for us. 2003 being our first year sailing there. We were impressed by the architecture of the Venetian buildings in many of the ports. Also there is a noticeable lack of mass tourism unlike that found in most other parts along the Mediterranean coastline. The larger towns of Trogir, Hvar, Korcular and Dubrovnik are fascinating to explore. Each holding many cultural events throughout the summer. This in combination with the smaller islands of Vis, Pakleni, Mljet and the Elaphite islands makes for a wonderful variety in cruising.
One can easily spend two weeks on the Dalmatian coast and for extended trips one could embark in Venice, cross to Northern Croatia, sail thru the Kornati archipelago finishing in Split or Dubrovnik.
Access to the yacht is easy thru Split and Dubrovnik; in both cases we can have the yacht within 20 minutes of the airports. Please enquire for detailed itineraries.
